Barbara Dewar of Bryan, New Jersey passed away in Hackettstown, New Jersey on Wednesday
December 11, 2024.
Barbara was raised in North Caldwell, New Jersey and attended primary and secondary school
there.
The light of Barbara’s life was her son Todd, who after serving in The United States Navy, settled
in Hawaii. Barbara was a long time employee at Weiss Foods, in Randolf, New Jersey.
Barbara is survived by her son Todd, her sisters Karen Berner, Ellen Donahue and her husband
Joe Donahue, her brother Chris Knipsheild, and her brother-in-law Garry Hartmann. Barbara was also
survived by her long time partner Glenn Hartmann, with whom she shared life and love for 34 years.
Barbara enjoyed spending time gardening and crafts and had a special kindness for all animals
and pets. Barbara was known to all as a mom and a caring person, and will be missed by all.
