Helen Candy Elliott of Mansfield Township, NJ died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 88 on July 15, 2024.  She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and moved with her husband Notman Elliott and their 2 children to NJ in 1977.  She is the daughter of the late Robert Fow Candy and Mary Helen (Kay) Candy.

She graduated West Chester University with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and worked at Long Valley Middle School as a 5th grade science teacher for 20 years.  She and her family were also members of Trinity United Methodist Church for 45 years!

She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed camping, sewing, gardening, cooking, reading, card games, crafting and she did love her red wine!  She also very much enjoyed spending time with her family including her 4 granddaughters.

She is survived by her son, Mark Elliott and wife Lea Governale, her daughter Candy Elliott Volpe and husband Steven, her sister, Roberta Candy, and 4 granddaughters, Samantha Elliott, Sabrina Elliott, Karissa Volpe, and Juliana Volpe.

She was pre deceased by her loving and devoted husband, Notman William Elliott who passed away in 2016.
