It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Michael Feeney, lovingly known as “Mike,” who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 61. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts, and raised in Hackettstown, New Jersey,
Mike was a man of unwavering integrity, known for his warmth, kindness, and quiet strength.
He is predeceased by his parents, Edward Xavier Feeney and Lorraine Feeney, and his beloved dog, Kelly.
Mike enjoyed a fulfilling 20+ year career in telecommunications before transitioning to semi-retirement as a realtor. He found immense joy in boating and spending summers on Cape Cod. As an avid sports fan, he loved watching games and coaching his son’s basketball and soccer teams. His passion for sports and deep commitment to his family were at the very heart of who he was.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marybeth; their two sons, Christopher and Edward, daughter-in-law, Jennifer; granddaughter, Charlotte; and his siblings: Linda, Brian, Patrick, and Pamela. He will be missed by his loyal dogs, Duke and Riley, who he loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held in his honor, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in Mike’s memory be made to the American Heart Association.
Rest in peace, Mike. Your legacy will continue to inspire and your memory will forever be cherished.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home: 905 High St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
