Florence Holder, age 93, of Hackettstown died Sunday, August 16, 2020 at home. Florence was born March 8, 1927 in New York City, NY to the late Charles A. and Anna M. (Little) Owens. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her son, Robert and her sister, Mary Zimmerman.
Florence was a loving and devoted homemaker, her greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Florence is survived by her daughter, Mary Hamm, her two sons, Thomas Holder and wife Eileen, John Holder and wife Cindy, a daughter-in-law, Tina Holder, five grandchildren, Kelly, Matthew, Danielle, Melissa, Sarah and six great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Our Lady of the Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ. Burial of ashes will follow at the church cemetery.
