Doris M. Fulmer nee Burns, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on September 27,2022 with her family by her side.

Quick with a smile and a great sense of humor, she will be missed by all who knew her. Doris was a devoted and loving mother and friend.

Born to the late James and Grace (Wiseburn) Burns in Oxford, N.J. on January 4, 1929, Doris was the youngest of six children. She was predeceased by sisters Edith Lessig and Margaret Smith and brothers James, Thomas and Donald.

Doris is survived by son, Bud Fulmer and daughter Debbie McCabe, her husband Donald and many loving nieces & nephews.

Doris attended Washington High School. She was a factory worker and for many years cleaned houses and businesses with her older sisters. Doris loved ice skating, family parties, Atlantic City & Lancaster vacations and celebrating holidays. Spending time with family was special and a priority to her.

A visitation will be held for a celebration of Doris’s life from 12 noon to 1pm followed by a memorial service starting at 1pm on Saturday October 29, 2022 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, N.J., 07840
