Glenn Evans
On Friday, May 15, 2020, Glenn Evans age 70 of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away after valiant battle with ALS.
Born in West Virginia to the late Walter Ross and Audrey Louise (Wright) Evans,
Glenn served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1971 as a Helicopter Rescue Aircrewman. He was a graduate of Bloomfield College and worked for the City of East Orange as a Supervisor for over 30 years.
An avid sportsman and a fun loving guy who was full of life and energy.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing,  archery, boating, and golfing with a multitude of friends.
Glenn is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years Dorothy (Charles) Evans; daughter Kellie Marie Evans Bray of Long Valley.  He was a proud and loving grandfather of Addison Jane Bray and William Cole Bray Jr. and loving sister Linda D’Aloia of Florham Park, many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws and a brother-in-law.
A private visitation will be on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street Hackettstown, NJ 07840 with a graveside service and burial to follow at Pequest Union Cemetery in Great Meadows, NJ. A memorial mass and gathering will be held at a later date.
