Jacqualine Grover, age 73, died on Thursday, December 17, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones after a brief battle with COVID-19 Disease. Jacqualine was born on November 2, 1947 and was the eldest child of Raymond and Ethel (Fischer) Green. Jacqualine grew up in Pompton Lakes, NJ and remained there until marrying the love of her life, James, on October 6, 1984. They moved into their home in Great Meadows, NJ and eventually moved to Las Vegas, NV with their daughter and her family for several years. Most recently she lived in Wenonah, NJ with her husband, daughter and son-in-law and her two beloved grand-daughters as well as her many adored pets.
Jacqualine worked at Picatinny Arsenal alongside her husband as a program analyst and loved her job, especially all of the lifelong friends she made along the way. She retired in 2003 and was able to spend many years traveling and enjoying life alongside her husband.
Jacqualine was a devoted wife and mother and a good friend to many. She was an avid traveler and loved to camp and go on cruises with her family and friends. She adored animals and would never turn away an animal in need. Her favorite animals were her beloved Scottish Terriers, cats, and especially her guinea pigs. She loved spending time with her family and friends and playing card games-but only if she was winning! She had a huge caring heart and was a blessing to so many.
Jacqualine is predeceased by her parents, and her brother Stewart. She is survived by her beloved husband James, their daughter Jodie and her husband William, and her most loved grand-daughters Skylar and Rylee, as well as her sisters Lorraine and Natalie and many family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home in Hackettstown, NJ. A graveside service will be held at the Union Cemetery, Mountain Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 at 11:00am on Monday, December 21, 2020.
