Donna E. Hale, 74 of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at home. Born in Dover, NJ, Donna was the daughter of the late William and Jacque Baugh.
Donna graduated from Hackettstown High School in 1965. She was a proud homemaker while raising her 3 children. She then worked alongside her husband running their draft beer maintenance company for 35 years until retiring in 2016. When she wasn’t watching her favorite movie, Gone with the Wind, she could be found rearranging her beloved hippo collection or tending to her beautiful flower beds all around her house. Donna was a faithful, loving wife and mother, a fantastic baker, and a favorite “room mom” at the Willow Grove Elementary School for many years. She never allowed her children to wear a Halloween costume that wasn’t meticulously handmade, and she was quite fond of all the little chipmunks that lived in her yard.
Donna is survived by her husband Leonard of 55 1/2 years, her sister, her 3 daughters, several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
As per her wish, there will not be any public services. She never liked anyone fussing over her. She was a selfless and humble person her entire life. She will be missed.
