Christian Michael Hall passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at home with his family in Hackettstown N.J. He was 58 years old.
He was born in Bronx, New York and spent most of his life in New Jersey. Chris was an involved person in every true sense. He was the best husband, father and friend you will ever have and the funniest person you ever met. Chris loved cooking and entertaining his family. He didn’t just watch sports, he lived them. He didn’t just take vacations; he made them adventures. He didn’t just listen to politics; he had a valid opinion. Chris thrived on coaching, not only his kids’ teams, but any team that needed him.
He was more than a husband, a father, a son, a nephew, a brother, and an uncle, he was the family.
He is survived by his wife, Danielle Hall; his beloved children Lauren, Ian and wife Alejandra, Nick and Sean; his loving mother Maureen Cerasoli; his two brothers Rob and wife MaryBeth and Phil and wife Krista and many nieces and nephews.
Chris Hall took the road less travelled by, and that has made all the difference.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St. Hackettstown, NJ. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 4 to 8pm.
A Mass celebrating Chris’ life will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 61 Main St. Flanders, N.J. at 10:30 am on Friday, October 17, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hackettstown High School Boys Basketball.

October 16, 2025 at 9:24 pmHall Family,
We are deeply saddened by your loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We know that “weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5), and we pray that this promise brings you some comfort as you navigate the pain of this loss.
We are forever grateful for the warmth and kindness that you showed us when we moved to Hackettstown six years ago. Your welcoming nature meant so much to us, and we will always cherish the way Mr. Hall took Lawrence under his wing, especially introducing him to the joy of basketball. Those memories will forever remain in our hearts.
Please know that you are in our prayers, and we stand with you in this time of sorrow.
With deepest sympathy,
Lawrenda, Mark and Lawrence
