Alvin Hill, 81 of Orwigsburg, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at home.  Born in Newton, NJ.   Alvin was the son of the late Frank M. & Genevieve Hull Hill.   Alvin has been a resident of Orwigsburg, since 2003 coming from Hackettstown, NJ.  Alvin worked at Roche as a Senior Chemical Operator for 25 years.  Alvin was an avid hunter and fisherman over the years.

Alvin Hill was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Staton Hill, son, Gerald Hill, two brothers Merrill Hill and Lynn Hill, two sisters Beverly Johnston and Janice Hill Master stepdaughter, Charlene Christ, two great grandsons Dale Bixler and Keith Gerber.

Alvin is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Reigle Hill, of 16 years, his grandson Jarrod Hill, four stepdaughters Christine Pridemore & Terry, Candi Gerber, Cathy Kreiser and companion Ronnie Knoll, Cindy Gerber and one stepson, Harvey Lymaster, Jr., and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 11.am. at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown NJ  07840.  Funeral services will be immediately following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ.
