Eleanor H. Hoffmann, 96of Clifton, NJ, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 with her family by her side.

Eleanor was the daughter of Gustav and Anna Hoffmann of Wallington,  NJ.  She was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and William and sisters Harriet and Florence Hoffmann.

She is survived by her nieces Judith Vinson and Carol Gursky and nephews Randolph,  James, and William Hoffmann along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Eleanor grew up in Passaic, NJ where she graduated high school. She later moved to Clifton and was a parishioner of St. Brendan R.C. Church. She worked for over 40 years before  retiring in 1986 from the Okonite Cable Company.

She enjoyed spending time in the yard gardening,  bird watching, traveling and on Christmas giving her nieces and nephews and their families fun and unique gifts.

She was a strong and independent woman with a great sense of humor. A loving and caring person who was always there when needed and will be truly missed by all.

A graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 7th.
