Janet Rodriguez, age 77, of Hackettstown died Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. Janet was born April 26, 1942 in Newark, NJ to the late Gerardo and Vincenza (Marchese) Corbo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alonzo Rodriguez, her cherished son, Robert Rodriguez and a brother.
She was a loving and devoted homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition she was a parishioner of the Our Lady of the Mountain Church, Long Valley, NJ, enjoyed spending time on the computer and watching the Food Network..

Janet is survived by her devoted daughter, Susan Falco and husband Giovanni “John”, her adoring son, Joseph Rodriguez and wife Kristin, five grandchildren, Alex, Evan, Nicky, Haley and Robert, a sister, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 8 at Our Lady of the Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ with Rev. Marchin Michalowski officiating. Burial will follow at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 7 from 4-9 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

So sorry to hear this. In the times I saw her for birthdays and holidays she was obviously such a loving person to the kids and grandkids. I really enjoyed her talking about growing up in Newark back in the day. You will always miss her. We just soldier on and try to live as she would want. Much love, Gary

Sue, Joe and family, words can’t express how deeply sorry we are. The Carsillo Fam is so blessed that she was a part of our world the past several years. Grandma Janet was a gem and will be incredibly missed. Please know we keep you all in our hearts and prayers.
