Kash was a great man and well loved. He gave a job to many of his grandsons troubled friends. Me included. To this day one of the best bosses I ever had . Even though i worked with produce i hated vegetables. He always harassed me about wasting my money on the crap fast food. He got me to start saving my money and eating salads and a taste for fried portabella mushrooms. It is almost as good as a burger.

I was so sad to read of “Kash’s” passing though it did spark a smile in my heart to remember him. In my ‘way back’ days I worked at Plenge’s Apple Valley Farm in Asbury & we always looked forward to his visits there. There were times I was sent off to Kash’s Farm to make a delivery too & it was always a fun stop. He always had a big, wide smile & was always in good humor. The friendly haggling about prices with Mr. Plenge would leave them both laughing (usually). He would bring veggies & pick up some veggies & usually set some pigeons off to race them home! He was one of those people that you always remember, even after all these years, for his kind heart, wonderful laugh & smile. May he rest in God’s peace & my prayers are with the family.
