Kingsbury, Stephen Francis November 13, 1948 - April 25, 2024

Stephen Francis Kingsbury (75) of Hackettstown, NJ died the morning of Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Hackettstown Medical Center after suffering a stroke.

Steve was born in 1948 in Raleigh, NC to Henry Lewis and Marie Theresa (née Butt) and grew up in Norfolk, VA. He was the oldest of eight children. He received a BA in English and Philosophy from Old Dominion University and served in the US Army 82nd Airborne Division, which gave him great pride all his life. His last full time position was director of Logistics Information at Kraft-Heinz. After retiring, he helped his wife with her small business, Enchanted Chocolate.

He was preceded in death by his brother David and his sister Lisa. He is survived by his spouse, Donna (née McBride), two daughters, Stephanie and Cassie, and five siblings: Michael, Karen, Tommy, Kathy, and Laura.

    Donna and family,

    Steve was a close friend of mine when we served together in the 82d. We shared a house in Fayetteville. knew him as an excellent officer and dear friend and confidant, with a great sense of humor. The world has lost a good man. I am very sorry for your loss.
