Very sorry to Mikey’s family and friends…We were friends in high school, and hung out a handful of times after that time as well…in our 20s…The best time of our friendship, however, was probably when we were 10 years old, give or take(!)….I remember going over your parent’s house and listening to tunes on the radio…(!) So very sorry…I heard about the memorial service too late…the day after…(I’m not always attentive to Facebook too, too often, and I keep a slow pace on it)….and so, I regret missing the services…You’ll be in my memory, Mikey…so very sorry….

So sorry to learn of Mike’s passing. I was just doing a Google search and was not expecting this result. Mike and I were lone-backpackers in Europe in 1995. We met in Paris and hit a few cities together before separating and by chance meeting up again weeks later. We also got together a couple of times back in NJ. I just read through my journal from our adventures and it brought me back to those younger years. My condolences to his family.
