Annette M. Knauer, age 80, of Hackettstown, died Friday, April 19, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Annette was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and wonderful friend to many throughout her life.
Annette was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Thomas and Nancy (Jenco) Marzo.
Annette was previously employed by the United States Department of Defense at Picatinny Arsenal, as an Administrative Assistant for 25 years. Annette was a member of several local senior citizen organizations and enjoyed trivia and playing cards and teaching Mahjong. She and her devoted husband Harry enjoyed many small trips together during their nearly 20 years of retirement. Most of all, Annette treasured her time with her family and friends.
Annette is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Harold Knauer; children, Susan Forte and husband Thomas, Jerald Wekar and wife Laura, William Wekar and wife Carol, Cindy Danielson and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Christopher Wekar and wife Kelly, Bryan Murphy, Kyle Danielson and wife Justine, and Ryan Danielson.
Family and friends may visit Cochran Funeral Home at 905 High Street, Hackettstown, New Jersey on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 2-5pm and 7-9pm, and Saturday April 27, 2024, from 9-11am.
A prayer service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, New Jersey.
