W. Donald Masker, a devoted family man, proud veteran, and bus mechanic, passed away peacefully on January 26th, 2024, in Philipsburg, NJ he was 85.
Donald was born March 16th, 1938 in Dover, NJ. He served his country with honor in the Air Force. He worked for Mt. Olive School District, where his hard work and dedication left a lasting impact.
Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Judith Masker. Together they raised six wonderful children: Daughter Dawn and husband Angelo Pietrobono, daughter Carrie and husband David Bazinet, son Scott and wife Tracy Masker, son William and wife Sue Trainello, son Jimmy and wife Roseanne Trainello, and daughter Jill Masker and wife Jennifer Mercurio.
Donald’s pride and joy were his eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Pearl Masker and three siblings Natalie Wolski, Jay Masker. and Alvin Masker. May he rest in peace.
A celebration of his life will be held at Cochran’s Funeral Home, 905 High St. Hackettstown, NJ 07840 on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Karen Ann Quinlan Memorial Foundation, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860.
