Colleen A. Mohr, resident of Canton, Pa. formerly of Roxbury Township, Pa. Passed away on January 30, 2022.
Born in NYC, September 16, l936 to Joseph and Edith Murtha. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Mohr for 50 years.
She graduated from Netcong High School, Netcong, NJ.
After retiring in 2003 from the Hopatcong Board of Education, Hopatcong, NJ, she and her husband retired to their Mini Farm in Canton, PA.
She enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she also enjoyed family vacations, ceramics, crafts and woodworking. She was a member of the Queens of Hearts, Red Hat Society of Canton, Pa.
Survivors are daughter Colleen Mohr of Myrtle Beach, SC, Twin sons, Joseph Mohr of Troy, Pa. and Robert (Yvonne) Mohr, of Stroudsburg, Pa., Michael (Denise) Mohr of Myrtle Beach, SC, and one sister, Laraine Umstadter, of Troy, Pa. Grandchildren, Jennifer (Jarod) Marino, Laurie, Steven, Robert, JoAnne (Tighe) Meckes, Michael and Nicholas. And 5 great-grandchildren, Ava and Ella Marino, Richie Hofmann, Jack Mohr and Rylee Meckes. Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dorothy (Mohr) and Tom Hottenstein, of Coventry, RI. Several cousins, nieces and nephew.
Colleen was predeceased by her son, Henry Mohr, a brother, Joseph Murtha, of Budd Lake, NJ.
Memorial visitation will be held on, Saturday, May 7, 2022, hours 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 1:30 pm with a burial at Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Hackettstown NJ immediately following the service.
