Barbara M. Pawski, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother peacefully passed away Monday, October 9th 2023 in Wayne, New Jersey. She departed to heaven surrounded by the love of family and friends. She was 75.

Barbara was born on August 15th, 1948 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Born and raised in New Jersey, Barbara attended Catholic schooling, and trained and became a certified medical assistant. Much of her career was spent assisting people in the medical field under many various medical practices. She retired from Hackettstown Hospital, where she served as supervisor of patient accounts.

Barbara enjoyed and cherished spending time with her family, watching old movies, crocheting baby blankets and many other items for friends and family, partaking in book club and water aerobics with friends, playing word games, and enjoying time with dear friends Mary and Jim DiCarlo and others. She loved feeding and observing hummingbirds every year which she always described lovingly as “My Hummie’s”. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Barbara is survived by her son, Bob Weiss and his wife Regina, granddaughter Audrey Weiss, grandson Jordan Weiss and his wife Darrien, and their sons Leighton and Daxton, Sister-in-law Josie McGrail, nephew Patrick Mcgrail and niece Sarah McGrail.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Al and Vera McGrail, brother Ron McGrail, and husband, Richard Pawski.  She is also survived by Jennifer Butler, siblings and family from her marriage to Richard.

Celebration of life dinner and gathering among friends and family at Mattars in Hackettstown New Jersey now complete, Barbara will be laid to rest in Clinton Iowa alongside her husband Richard Pawski.  For those wishing to leave online condolences, please visit, www.cochranfuneral.com.
