Marilyn Tell, age 85, of Hackettstown died Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center in Hackettstown, NJ.  Marilyn was born March 23, 1940 in Manhattan, NY to the late Max and Connie (Rinella) Reiss. In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas, and her twin sister, Judith Quilliam.

Marilyn was a loving homemaker, always putting her family first.  In addition, Marilyn loved to travel, and watch television, especially her beloved NY Yankees.  Everyone knew her as a kind and loving person, she will be deeply missed.

Marilyn is survived by her cherished daughter, KellyAnn Tell; her loving son, Thomas Tell and wife Arletta; her two granddaughters, Nicole Routhier and Caitlin Tell; a grandson, Thomas Tell; a sister, Roslyn Masiello and husband Frank, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, October 27, 2025 from 2pm – 6pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30am on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Our Lady of the Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ with Rev. Marchin Michalowski officiating.  Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 2:00 pm.

    We love you so much and miss you, Mom. You were a wonderful and loving mom and grandma and we’ll miss you every day of my life. Life for us will never be the same without you. I know you missed Dad so much and I’m happy you’re now with him again and with Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Judy, Aunt Jackie and Uncle Pat. Thank you for everything you did for me.
