Wade Nelson Miller, 92, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2020, at Paragon Village in Hackettstown. Wade was born July 20, 1928 in Queens, NY. He was the son of the late Martin Clyde and the late Florence (Kingman) Miller. Wade was a 56 year resident of Islip, NY. He moved to Hackettstown in 2019, with his wife Doris, of 65 years.

Wade served two tours of duty in the Korean war. He worked as a retail pharmacist for many years, before finishing his pharmacy career as an employee of the state of NY hospital system.

Wade loved sailing, and also enjoyed golf, bridge, and bird watching.

Wade is survived by his wife, Doris Mary, his son Wade Martin and wife Kimbra of Long Valley, and son Nelson Edward of Oneida NY. Wade was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Jeanne Miller of Oneida NY. In addition, Mr. Miller is survived by his grandsons; Ryan and wife Kelly of Friendswood TX, Logan and wife Jenna of Flemington NJ, and Sean and Cody of Oneida NY.

Services for Mr. Miller were private, and entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home of Hackettstown.
