Robert “Bob” Waskis of Long Valley NJ, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and 2 sons on June 17th, 2024.
Bob is survived by his wife Sue of 48 years, children Robert (Melissa) and Brian (Randi), grandchildren, Allan (Sydney), Madilyn, Lillian, Everly, Emerson, Delaney, and great grandchild, Violet. He is also survived by his sisters, Carol (Gary), Diane, Marianne, and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Anita and Tony Waskis and sisters, Joan, Paula, and Barbara.
A lifetime fan of the New York Giants and New York Yankees. His overall knowledge of sports was unmatched.
An avid golfer throughout his retirement, Bob also enjoyed spending time in the sun at the Jersey shore where he grew up and loved vacationing with his wife in the Caribbean and Florida. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family but he will always be remembered.
Calling hours will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22, 2024. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon immediately after the viewing. The Burial will take place after the funeral service at the German Valley Cemetery located in Long Valley NJ.
