Carolyn O’Savage Snook passed at home on January 10, 2021 at age 79. Carolyn was born March 9, 1941 in Charloroi PA to Jack and Beatrice Kendall O’Savage, spending most of her childhood growing up in Roscoe PA. Carolyn is a graduate California PA High School class of 1959.
After moving to NJ, Carolyn worked in several manufacturing and food service industries supporting her family. She had a creative side enjoying various crafting hobbies including crocheting and tending to the flowers in her yard. Carolyn enjoyed engaging with young people having been very involved in the lives of her grandchildren and enjoyed interacting with the college students in her later years as a Centenary University Cafeteria cashier. Carolyn loved celebrating Christmas, decorating her yard and house, and especially loved the holiday family gatherings.
Carolyn is survived by son Kirk Snook and wife Karen, daughter Melodie Snook, grandchildren Kyle Snook, Connor Snook, Keri Snook, Steven Snook Jr, James Snook, Christopher Neubauer, Chloe Neubauer, brother Jack O’Savage and wife Barbara, and brother in law Robert Petty. She is preceded in death by son Steven Aaron Snook and sister Ruth Ann Petty.

January 27, 2021 at 12:33 amI’m so sorry for the loss of your mom. I only worked with her for a short time. She was a lady of class and beauty. Never a negative word towards anyone. She spoke so highly of her family. She will be greatly missed by so many people but by her family most. My prayers are with you. Look for the cardinals and butterflies around you, that is mom checking in on you. I lost my dad in may and he still visit me trough these two amazing species. God bless to all of your family.
