Donald Harry Reppert, 86 passed into eternal rest on December 1, 2023, at the NRV Medical Center, Radford Virginia, from complications of a fall. He was the only child of Orpha Frey

Reppert and Willard Reppert. Donald was preceded in death by his oldest son, Cris Allen.

He is survived by his wife Carole, Radford; son Scott Donald and Cherry Reppert, Radford; grandchildren Ashley and Zach Bush, Memphis; Matthew and Rebecca Reppert and Lauren Reppert, Radford, and 11 great grandchildren.

Donald attended Penn State Center in Allentown, PA. He was hired by Curtiss Wright for Penn State’s Research Division in Quehanna, PA. He studied Electrical Technology but was part of their Nuclear Dept. When the college closed their Research Division after 4 years, he accepted a job working on nuclear ships at New York Shipbuilding, Camden, NJ. Donald also worked at GPU Nuclear Corp., an electric company, headquartered in Parsippany, NJ, where he remained until retirement in 1996. He retired from their Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant in Forked River, NJ.

He served his country in the Pennsylvania Reserves and National Guard, some of the time with the 243rd Army band and was honorably discharged.

He and Carole traveled extensively during retirement. Donald also enjoyed deer hunting at his camp in Pennsylvania, fishing, salt and fresh water, his teams, Cincinnati Reds and Philadelphia Eagles, and most of all, his family.
