Margaret Ann Rippon
Margaret Ann Rippon, nee Vojtek, formerly of Hackettstown NJ passed away August 20th, 2024 after a long illness. She was 92. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA in 1932, she was raised in the Fox Hill section of Plains Township. She was graduated from Plains High School where she was a Drum Majorette.
In the early 1960’s, “Margie” as she was known to friends and family moved to East Orange, NJ, where she met her future husband while working at Port Newark. Margie was a homemaker and raised a beautiful family in West Orange, where she was a longtime resident. She was the rock that held everyone together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Vojtek and Mary Hudak. Siblings Joseph, John, Stephen, Adam, Andrew, Carl, George, Mary, Ann and Helen.
She is survived by her husband Terence E. Rippon. Her children Terence A. Rippon (Sherry), Lawrence J. Rippon (Gina) and Naomi Novinski (Michael). Grandchildren, Terence G, Victoria M, Taylor A, Skyler R, Samuel L, Benjamin P and Abigail M.
Margie was a kind and loving person. She was a devout Catholic and will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10am at Our Lady of The Mountain RC Church, 2 East Springtown Rd. Long Valley, NJ 07853. Viewing will be private.
