A woman full of life and joy who made meaningful impressions on all those who came into her orbit, Karen (or Dee as she was more commonly known to friends and loved ones) was an avid reader who loved spending time on the beach with her toes in the sand. Karen had a gift for turning holiday festivities and birthdays into magical moments for herself and those around her. She fiercely loved her family and cherished every moment spent being a beloved Nana to her grandchildren.
