Deidre B. Sperr, age 59, of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Born on November 25, 1966, in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the beloved daughter of the late Julius and Mary Lou (Risso) Sperr.
Deidre dedicated many years of her life as an industrial painter with ABB in Hackettstown, where she took great pride in her work. She had a deep love for animals—especially cats and dogs—and a strong devotion to her country. Deidre was also an active voice on the social media platform X, where she shared her thoughts and passions with others. Dee was also a Court Reporter and an EMT in NYC and that she was a good mother all which she was very proud of.
She is survived by her son, Ryan Paine; her sister, Julianne O’Brien and husband Bernard; her brothers, Eric Sperr and wife Ana, and Mark Sperr and wife Kim; along with several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Chaplain Mario Spadaro. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Hackettstown.
Deidre will be remembered for her hardworking spirit, her love of animals, and her unwavering patriotism. She leaves behind a legacy of dedication, kindness, and strength that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
