Danielle E. Green, age 50, of Wharton, New Jersey, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. She was born on December 5, 1975, in Englewood, New Jersey, and was the daughter of the late Karen Linda Green.
Danielle was employed by NJ Manufacturers Insurance in Parsippany, New Jersey, where she worked as a Homeowner’s Claims Representative.
Danielle was a kind, loving, glass-half-full type of woman whose warmth touched so many lives. She was always there for others with a listening ear and a helping hand. She had a sense of humor that made you love her even more. Danielle enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family, cheering on the Steelers, and relaxing with a Miller Lite. She was also a huge fan of The Golden Girls, and one of the special memories she shared with her wife, Laura, was attending the 2020 Golden Girls Cruise together. During the holidays, Danielle especially looked forward to her Aunt Vanessa’s macaroni and cheese, one of those simple things that always made her happy.
Danielle is survived by her wife, Laura LaMonaco; her mother-in-law, Donna Lamonaco; sister-in-law, Sarah Lamonaco-Cabrera and late husband, Victor Cabrera, her brother-in-law, Michael Lamonaco, his wife, Jennifer Lamonaco, and their daughters, Sophie and Isabella, Sister, her aunts, Vanessa Woodard and Henrietta Brown, lovingly known as “Penny”; her nephew, Karim Harrison; her nieces, Shanai and Kathy Woodard; her great-niece, Jeriah McCullough; her cousins, Ernesta Coleman, Tracey Coleman, Joseph Coleman, Thomas Wattley, Ebony Coleman, Marvin Williams, and Nova Williams; and many additional nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Danielle will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her kindness, her humor, and the love she gave so freely.
Visitation will be Friday, April 10 from 1-5 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
The funeral will be held 4:30 pm on Friday, April 10 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Pastor Pam Szurek officiating. Cremation will be private.
