Al is predeceased by his son, Erich in 1977, daughter, Anna in 1978 and wife Joan (Campbell) Wulf in 2013 whom he married on May 8, 1961. When he was young his family moved to their home at the corner of West Mill Road and Middle Valley Road in Long Valley. He served in the Marines before being honorably discharged.
