Carpenito, Patricia McCarthy August 18, 1942 - July 6, 2021

Patricia McCarthy Carpenito, age 78, of Long Valley, NJ died peacefully Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ.  Patricia was born August 18, 1942 in New York City, NY to the late Roscoe and Daisy (Marshall) McCarthy.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, David Enrico Heard.

She was previously employed as a maternity nurse at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center for many years, subsequently, while still at the hospital, she became the Head of the Maternity Ward.  She was famous for her ability to tie a bow in a babies’ hair when there appeared to be no hair! Pat was also well known for her Mary Kay business and helped many women feel beautiful.  Her most devoted role though was being an incredible mom and mema, which she excelled at and made every occasion special with her loving touch.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Edward Enrico Carpenito, two daughters, Kim Ann Seenath and husband David, Susan Carpenito Heard, a granddaughter, Daisy Elisabeth Heard, a sister, Jane Blakely and husband Butch, two nieces, Taryn Blakely and husband Peter Murphy, Pamela Blakey and fiance Jarrod Murno and many special friends.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 1-5 pm with services beginning at 5pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Baldrick’s Foundation, 1333 S. Mayflower Avenue, Suite 400, Monrovia, CA 91016, www.stbaldricks.org/hero-funds/davidswarriors in memory of Patricia.
