Francis (Frank) Anthony Catanzano passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 at home in Mansfield, NJ after a brief battle with cancer. He was 73.
Frank was born on July 16, 1951 in Chelsea, MA and grew up in Malden, MA. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and later earned his MBA at Bentley College. He moved to NJ in 1988 with his family and raised two sons on Schooley’s Mountain. Frank worked as a manager at AT&T for 25 years.
Frank remained a loyal fan of Massachusetts sports teams and enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox, Celtics and New England Patriots. When his children were young, he coached Washington Township Recreation soccer for many years.
Frank is survived by his son Joseph and wife Keri Catanzano of Levittown, NY; and his son Daniel Catanzano and wife Hannah Venman-Clay of Lunenburg, MA; as well as his former wife, Jennifer Palmer, with whom he remained close friends. He had three beloved grandchildren, Dean, Layla, and Joel, and had been looking forward to the birth of number four.
He is also survived by his sister, Lorraine Catanzano, and brother, Jon Catanzano.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank Catanzano and Louise Spacer Catanzano, and his sister, Kathleen.
