Cook, Clinton, Marshell, Jr. October 8, 1951 - November 30, 2020

Clinton Marshell Cook, Jr, age 69, of Allamuchy, NJ died Monday, November 30, 2020 at Montefiore Hospital.  Clinton was born October 8, 1951 in Newton, NJ. He is the son of the late Clinton Marshell and Leah Elizabeth (Buckley) Cook.

He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene (Bell) Cook, his mother Leah Cook, his siblings and their spouses, Juanita Wnoroski, Sharen Stagg and husband John, Dianne Headrick and husband William, Donna Cook, Dale Cook, David Cook.  Nieces, Jolene, Angel, Mary, and Katie.  Nephews, John, David, William, Alexander, and Wayne.  He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Free Union Cemetery, Liberty township, NJ with Pastor Jim Craig officiating.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown NJ 07840.  In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Pet Adoption League, P.O.     Dear Charlene…I am so sorry and heartbroken about our beloved “Hoopie”… that is what all the trucking family knew him by…his CB handle…The neighborhood will be missing his air horn toot as he went by our farms and houses. He was my neighbor and friend for all our years…l will miss his phone calls to talk about trucks..weather and traffic. This was such a shock to us all…he will be missed by us all..RIP Dear Hoopie…l know you are up there looking down at us…😥

    Hello to the Cook Family, Mark Harnish here from Florida. Very sad to see this, a memory of him in the Corvair, then the blue wrecker, then the stretch on 517 and a few cherry bombs just popped into my head. I’m guessing from the list of names I have the right Clint, I remember Juanita and Sharen. Gob bless him, a good man.
