Barbara was born on April 10, 1957 in Kingston, PA and moved to NJ where she graduated from Rutherford High School. She then went on to graduate from the Rutgers University School of Nursing.

Barbara spent her career in nursing in both acute and primary care. She worked as a critical care nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ followed by Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ. She is also survived by her mother Sally Kotch and her sister Sally Santo (Joseph), multiple nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
