Decker, Paula July 26, 1949 - January 26, 2024

Paula Ann Decker, age 74, of Green Township, NJ died Friday surrounded by family, January 26, 2024 at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ.  Paula was born July 26, 1949 in Dover, NJ to the late Luigi and Antoinette (Petrocco) Porzilli.  In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob in 2023.
Paula was a loving and devoted wife and  mother to her five children and husband. She worked on and off throughout the years. She loved traveling, going to the beach, collecting seashells for crafts, puzzling and cooking.
Paula is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Decker and partner Reed Smercina,four sons, Robert Decker and wife Dominique, David Decker partner Jamie Franchi, Timothy Decker and wife Cara, John Decker and partner Kara. Two brothers, Richard Porzilli and wife Donna, Louis Porzilli, her sister, Janet Zuerblis and husband Kenneth, seven grandchildren, Olivia Decker; Maisie and Maya Smercina, Robert and Ryan Decker, Emma and Jacob Decker and many nieces and nephews..
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 31at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 48 Tranquility Road County Route 517, Andover, NJ with Father Francisco Emerson officiating.  Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover following the mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial & Honor Program, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 in memory of Paula.

    To ALL of Paula’s Family…May Paula’s Dear memories bring you lasting comfort and peace. In time those memories will bring a happy smile to your face and warm your hearts!
    Paula loved her children and then was blessed with her grandchildren. When we would talk I always brought up how she was blessed and lucky to have her wonderful family. She would agree and enjoy the love from all of them.
    My sincere heartfelt condolences to all in her family!
