Yvonne Dorman, 90 of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away at home on May 5, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Born in Passaic, NJ, Yvonne was the daughter of the late Samuel & Nita Moscatel Tursiella. Yvonne and her late husband George moved to Hackettstown in 1961 having come from her beloved home in Passaic. Yvonne had wonderful memories of Passaic and always shared her memories with her loving family.
Before her retirement, Yvonne was employed as a customer service representative with Home Depot of Mansfield Twp. Yvonne and George loved to travel throughout the United States on their motorcycle. It was on the road that they found happiness and relaxation. She was also very proud of her Italian heritage which she shared with her extended family.
Yvonne is survived by two children, George (Jeanette) Dorman & Kim Smith (John). Loving grandchildren; Ashley Clayton (Tim), Meghan Smith (Barry Harm), Alyssa Snook (James), Emily & Sophie Dorman. Beloved Great Grandchildren; Gianna Clayton, Timmy Clayton, Meadow Clayton, Johnny Clayton, David Talley, Scarlett Harm, Harper Snook and Noah Snook. She is survived by three siblings; Robert Tursiella, Jo Libin and Pat Anders. Yvonne is predeceased by her loving husband, George Dorman and siblings Kenny Tursiella and Geraldine Dyt.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 12 pm to 2 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. 07840. Funeral Services will take place after the viewing at 2 pm in the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at Hackettstown Union Cemetery. Yvonne was a Wonderful lady and a hard worker. I wish we all had more time to spend together. Life has us all way too busy. Our Condolences to the whole Family.
