Betty I. Edwards, age 94, of Hackettstown died Friday, July 15, 2022 at home in Hackettstown. Betty was born July 18, 1927 in Abington, PA to the late Arthur and Erma (Estler) Pike. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elwood Edwards in 2014.
Betty was previously employed by Avon Products, New York, NY as a Sales Manager for many years before her retirement. She was a hardworking, studious person and an active member of the Abundant Life Church, Port Murray, NJ. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her loving son, Elwood Kevin Edwards, her seven grandchildren, Kevin, Michael and wife Kelsey, Eileen, Matthew, Sean, Brian and Shannon Edwards, a great granddaughter, Haley Edwards and two sisters, Phyllis and Barbara.
The funeral will be held 11:30 am on Wednesday, July 20 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Pastor Chris Hussey officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Randolph.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20 from 10 am – 12 noon at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Abundant Life Community Church, 21 Cherry Tree Bend Road, Port Murray, NJ in memory of Betty.
