James Frustieri was a resident of Hackettstown , New Jersey for 54 years . He was born in Passaic , New Jersey on October 10, 1941 and died on March 6, 2021 at home .
He was predeceased by his mother Evelyn Wujtowicz , father Victor Frustieri , and brother Victor Frustieri Jr.
He is survived by his wife Carol , 3 children James , Timothy , and Lorraine Donnelly and her husband Brendon . He had 5 grandchildren Jennifer , Jessica ,Taryn , Colleen , and James and one great grandchild Autumn . He had 2 sisters Patricia Marut and Kathleen Currall .
He joined the Army in 1959 and became Paratrooper . He belonged to the VFW.
His hobbies were collecting Military Patches , Tropical Fish , and creating Bonsai Plants .
Viewing will be held at Cochran Funeral Home on 905 High Street , Hackettstown , N.J. 07840 on Thursday March 11, 2021 from 1 pm – 4 pm. A funeral service will begin at 3:30pm. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.cochranfuneral.com

Grandpa, I hope you are up there sipping on Moscow mules, enjoying Sabrett hot dogs (with your special sauce of course), and snacking on olives in a field of cats. I am flooded with memories of us playing Monopoly (the right way), you teaching me how to play pool, going to Rutt’s Hut and NYC, swimming during summer picnics, and listening to all the cool stories of you parachuting off of airplanes. You were the ultimate collector, the most clever teaser, and a grandfather who taught me the meaning of a big heart. Rest in peace Grandpa, I miss and love you so much.
