Vincent Gallo, age 92, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2022. He was born on November 13, 1929 in Palazzolo- Acreide, Sicily, Italy to the late Sabastiano and Concetta (Musso) Gallo.
Vincent Moved to the United States in 1958 and lived in Orange, NJ for 48 years then moved to Hackettstown NJ. He worked at Marcal Paper before starting his own landscaping company, Vincent Gallo & Sons.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Carmela (Cannizzaro) Gallo, his sons, Anthony and wife Amelia, Frank and his wife Elizabeth, his daughters, Concetta and her husband Thomas, Maria and her husband Craig. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Vincent Gallo and wife Kerry, Daniela and her husband Matthew, Anthony, Jr., Roberto, Thomas, Jr., Vincenzo, Angelica, Stephanie, Sabrina, Frank Jr., Rocco and 6 Great Grandchildren, Victoria, Vincent, Jr., Dominic, Lucas, Nicholas and Matthew. He is also survived by 1 sister in law, Maria Gallo and many loving nieces and nephews.
Vincent was pre deceased in death by his brother, Sam Gallo and sister in law, Parmina Gallo, brother, Santo Gallo, and by his sisters, Josephine Musso and brother in law, Santo Musso and Paola Corradino.
The visitation will be held on October 10, 2022 at Cochran Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 9 am to the time we leave for mass. The mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at St. Theodore’s Roman Catholic Church, 855 NJ-57, Port Murray NJ 07865 with Father Tomiczek officiating. Immediately following the mass, the Entombment will take place at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 & 1621 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union NJ 07083.
