Dennis J. Gill, age 85, of Hackettstown died Monday, December 12, 2022 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center of Hackettstown, N.J.. Dennis was born April 3, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Joseph and Muriel (Medford) Gill. He married Prudence Snoek.
Graduated from Lynbrook High School, went on to serve in the Marine Corps from1956 – 1960. After serving in the military, Dennis had a successful career as a store manager for Pantry Pride and Shop Rite. In 1958 Dennis met Prudence Snoek and were married for 64 years. Dennis and Prudence went on to have 5 children.
During retirement, Dennis enjoyed fishing, drinking scotch and of course the casinos.
In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Dennis was predeceased by his father and mother Joseph and Muriel, his daughters Karen and Kim Gill and sister Leslie.
Calling hours will be Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 2-5 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J..
The funeral service will be held 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Rev. Mario Spadaro officiating
