Goins, Denise June 3, 1956 - February 6, 2023

Denise C. Goins, age 66, of Cumming, GA died Monday February 6, 2023 at Pennsylvania Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Denise was born June 3, 1956 in Long Valley, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Benedict A. and the late Audrey J. (Taylor) Cucinella.

Denise graduated from West Morris Central High School before attending Clemson University for her undergraduate and the Georgia School of Professional Psychology in Atlanta for her Masters. As an animal lover and avid equestrian, she was a member of the National Block and Bridle Club and obtained her Bachelors in Animal Sciences while at Clemson, competed in hunter jumper and dressage shows, and volunteered her time to various horse farms and the Devon Horse Show throughout her life.

Denise is survived by her children Christopher, Stephanie married to Kyle, and Samantha Goins, brothers Anthony Cucinella partner/wife to Terry Cyphers, and Michael married to Lauren Cucinella, niece Amanda married to Phil Coco, partner/husband Carl, stepchildren Carla, and Kevin married to Sarah Frisch, as well as countless friends she loved as family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Cumming, GA.

    It’s been years since I’ve seen Denise but we kept up on Facebook. I am so sad to hear of her passing. She was a such a kind and caring person. She will be missed.

    When we traveled together for our job, she had a way to cheer me up when I was down, one time I brought Audrey back from her daughters in Charlotte to her house in Cumming, they were just alike. We laughed the whole way, I will surely miss her 🙂

    Ive been working for Denise a little over a year now. Aside from being an amazing boss, Denise was a caring and sweet person all around. During a very difficult time in my life Ill always remember her kind words and hugs that made me feel like everything was going to work out. She will truly be missed.
