I just saw that Marian passed away this summer. Marian and Dot worked at Hatchery Hill School, where I taught. They were wonderful women and I enjoyed working with them. Many wonderful memories.
    So sorry for your loss.

So sad to learn of the loss of a dear friend and neighbor from Vista Pines.
When it came time to give up her car Marian took to riding her bike everywhere. When the bike became an issue, Marian would set off for the clubhouse to enjoy exercise class or evening cards always with her flashlight at the ready.
You could tell when a family event was approaching by the sweet smell of chocolate brownies drifting up from her kitchen.
Marian loved having company, whether it was a select group ladies for card games like “pay me” or she and I on her porch catching up on the days events. There was always the offer of some new snack she wanted to try and
perhaps a pre dinner glass of wine to toast our blessings.
Marian was so well thought of by residents and staff who extend their belated condolences.
