Harrigan, Donna Lynn October 14, 1960 - January 1, 2025

Donna Lynn Harrigan, age 64, passed away on January 1, 2025.

She has left on this earth her mother Meredith Harrigan as well as her cherished nephew John Harrigan and niece Kristen Blackburn, both of whom she taught the time-honored skill of scalping baseball tickets. She hoped they would spread her wisdom to their families, who she also held dearly: Rebekah Harrigan, John’s wife; Dusty Blackburn, Kristen’s husband; and their children Kaelee and Brent Harrigan and Tobias Blackburn. She will be remembered fondly by her sister-in-law Diane Harrigan and her nephews Thomas and Dennis Rowley.

By her passing, Donna will join her father Jackie, her brother John, and her beloved husband Bob Search where we are sure she will bring a vibrancy that will make the heavens sparkle.

Donna grew up in Westwood, New Jersey and was a resident of Panther Valley in Hackettstown, New Jersey. Her light and energy were contagious. She was the person who brightened a room simply by showing up and inspired her friends and family with her commitment to strong relationships. She flourished in a challenging career in the pharmaceutical industry, while still being available for family and volunteer work. Donna spearheaded the launch of a dog park by leading a team of volunteers in the development and presentation of a feasibility proposal to the Allamuchy, New Jersey, Town Council, which approved the park. No tickets were scalped for this event.

Donna waged a bare-knuckled fight against cancer and refused to let her challenges slow her down. Her passionate embrace of life spurred all who loved her to relish every moment. We are blessed to have known her.

There are words that fall in and out of style yet remain perfect in their exactness: one of them describes Donna. The woman had gumption.

We recently became friends with Donna.. I spoke at her marketing classes in Centenary University night school and we helped her get to her medical appointments over the last few years. We had dinner with her a few months ago at the club and she was in good spirits. She was an amazing women – having to deal with the passing of her husband and family members, she still was a bright light for my wife and me. She and her spirit will be missed immensely. RIP sweet Donna.
