Hemeleski, Philip August 29, 1988 - August 29, 2023

Philip Hemeleski, age 35, of Tamiment, PA died Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at home.  Philip was born August 29, 1988 in Hackettstown, NJ to Thomas Hemeleski and Kathleen (Druffner) Myers. He was a  2007 graduate of East Stroudsburg North High School and member of the Rifle Team

Philip was employed by GXO Logistics, Belvidere, NJ as a Forklift Operator.  Philip was an avid hunter and fisherman.  In addition he was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team.

He is survived by his daughter, Jewell Hemeleski, his father Thomas Hemeleski and wife Martha Sue, his mother, Kathleen (Druffner) Myers and husband Howard, aunt, Gloria Todisco and husband Paul, Uncle, Mike Hemeleski and wife Virginia; aunt, Eileen Bostonian and husband John, aunt, Mary Weatherholt and husband Mike,and aunt Loni Druffner brother, Ryan Myers, step-brother, David Bowden, step-sister, Tia and Darcie Myers, step-sister, Holly Taylor and Heather Tepas, goddaughter, Rachel Druffner and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 8:30 pm on Wednesday, September 6 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father Leopoldo Salvania officiating.  Cremation will be private.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Online condolences may be left at www.cochranfuneral.com

      I’m wiping a tear from a my cheek as I write this. I have lost two people who were near and dear to me. Although I have never had the chance to meet this young gentleman, my heart is still as broken as if I did d know him. Words can never express the pain of a loss, but I hurt and feel so saddened nonetheless. I send my heart, my prayers, my tears, and most of all wishing your whole family for the fond memories and that you all keep him forever in your hearts forever and never forget the love you all shared and will always share together forever. He’ll always be with you. And sending a hug to you all, especially Jewell. God bless you all, always..

    My deepest sympathies for your loss. I worked with Phil and he was such a sweet considerate person, you could always depend on Phil to be willing to help anyone who asked. Our team at GXO are all very saddened by Phil’s passing. He is greatly missed by all his coworkers.

    So sorry about Phil. I worked with Phil at GXO for 5 months. Phil was very friendly, laid back, and got along with all of us at work. He will be and is missed. Very happy to have known him and have a few personnel conversations with him in my short time knowing him.

    Since birth he was put into my hands and I took on that Big Cousin Role, and was So Proud of Him!!!!
    Our family had just handed to Me, My Best Friend for Life!!!! We did Everything together. A bond that would never be broken…. Even After his Passing I still Feel Him!!! Forever My Favorite Cousin….Because He was My Only Cousin!!!!! I Love You Philip and I will Forever Miss You but, I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN!!!!
