Frannya Hermida, age 55, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at Hackensack University Medical Center after a hard fought battle with leukemia.
She was born in Matagalpa, Nicaragua to her parents, Hialda del Carmen Herrera III and the late César Hermida.

Frannya was a passionate oil painter who loved to recreate the landscapes of her beloved home
country of Nicaragua. She also enjoyed gardening, listening and dancing to music, and cooking for her loved ones.
Above all else, Frannya enjoyed helping others, having spent years caring for the elderly.

She is survived by her husband, Hans Sr.; children, Hans Jr. and Hialda (husband Peter), sisters, Hilceyth and Kyuttza; mother, Hialda; and dogs, Duke and Bear.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 27 from 2-6 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

The funeral service will be held 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 27 following the visitation at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.  Cremation is private.
