Iwanowski, Gloria January 30, 1958 - April 28, 2021

Gloria Iwanowski, age 63, of Andover, NJ died surrounded by her family after battling a long illness and her dog Thurman by her side Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at home. Gloria was born January 30, 1958 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Francis and Marie (Vacca) Baniewski.

Gloria enjoyed a good football game, especially when she was cheering on her beloved Minnesota Vikings. She was a loving wife and devoted mother, who loved cooking for the family and take care of the family pets. She was a strong person who fought with passion for every moment she could to stay with her loving family, she will be dearly missed.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 36 years, Henry M. Iwanowski, her son, Scott Iwanowski, her two, daughters, Justine and Marylynn Iwanowski, a brother, Edward Baniewski, a sister, Marie Chesney, a grandson, Lucas Iwanowski and her dog, Thurman Bully Munson and numerous nieces and nephews

Visitation hours will be Monday, May 3 from 10:30 am- 11 am at Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, North Arlington, NJ

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Monday, May 3 at Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington following the mass.

    We will greatly miss you and your gentle presence Gloria. You were always kind and generous to everyone, and a better friend would be hard to find. Your nature was always so generous and giving; and you were always there to help a friend in any way.
    You were the best mother ever to your beautiful children, and your devotion and love for them will never be forgotten. You worked very hard to ensure that their needs and desires were never ignored, and guided them lovingly with patience and unparalleled sensibility; always setting the best example for them to learn by and follow. God bless you always Gloria, you will surely be missed by your beautiful family and those of us who were fortunate to have you as a friend. You made this world a better place for all who knew you.
