Johnston, Brian October 29, 1972 - October 10, 2020

Brian Johnston, age 47, of Hackettstown, NJ died Saturday, October 10, 2020 at home. Brian was born October 29, 1972 in Glen Ridge, NJ to Kevin and Margaret (Rohner) Johnston.

Brian graduated from Glassboro/Rowan University and was employed by Iron Workers Local #11, Bloomfield, NJ for over twenty years.  He enjoyed motorcycling, tuna fishing, and was an avid reader.

Brian is survived by his devoted wife: Reneé (Ferrara) Johnston, his cherished daughter, Ava Johnston, loving son, Zachary Johnston, his parents, Kevin and Margaret (Rohner) Johnston, two brothers, Kevin R. Jedediah “Jed” Johnston and wife Jennifer, Brendan Johnston and companion Caitlin, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Public visitation for friends and family will begin Friday, October 16, 2020 from 4-8 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.  A private catholic blessing will be held for immediate family only. Cremation will also be private.  *Face masks are required and social distancing is expected.*
