Katherine M. Brobst March 22, 1941 - April 29, 2020

Katherine M. Brobst, age 79, of Budd Lake, NJ died Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Dover General Hospital, Dover, NJ.  Katherine was born March 22, 1941 in Dover, NJ to late Paul and Mary (Smith) Ike.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Sr., her son, Raymond, and her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Christopher Rahinesmith, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

She was previously employed by as a Packer for M&M Mars, Hackettstown, NJ retiring many years ago.  Katherine was a former member of the VFW, Kenville, NJ and the Warren County Seniors Citizens.  She enjoyed going to Bingo and hosting tricky trays for various organizations.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Brobst-Stevenfield and her husband William, her two sons, Lorin Brobst, John Brobst, Jr. and wife Billie Jo, a brother, Raymond Ike, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.

All services are private and under the direction of the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ  07840

kate there are so many memories with you, it is hard to believe that you are gone but we all know that now you are at peace with dad,christine,ray,chris,aunt margarite and your mom and dad and many more your not in pain anymore your not suffering you are going to be missed and loved very much. we have had our ups and downs through out the years but you were always there for me when i needed you and even if i didnt need you, you were still there. even tho your not here in person your still here in spirit and i know you will look over everyone from above just a much as you looked out for everyone when you were here R.I.P

Gram where do i start i dont know what i am going to do now that you are gone. Thank you for being there me and allowing me to take care of you in the end. My heart is broken and a part of me is missing but i know your not suffering anymore and you are now with grandpa. I hope i made you proud. I love you with n will always miss you. But you are now watching over me. Until we meet again. I love you and i hope your dancing in the sky with grandpa

Fly with the Angels Aunt Kate no more Pain always had fun at your house for the summer when we were kids I’ll never forget the trip to Maine with you guys in the back of the truck camper great times love you

You are now amongst the angels, looking down at those you love. It has been an up and down battle for you , but you have stayed strong for those around you. Even though your not here with all of us god has gained a beautiful angel. You will be missed.
