Lola Marie Keller, age 79, of Blairstown, NJ died Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ. Lola was born January 12, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Castor and Rose (Marquez) Alvarez. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister, Jeanette Hummel.
Lola was a happy homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, was devoted to her catholic faith, enjoyed traveling and being outdoors with nature.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John Keller, her loving daughter, Beth Setar, her son, Matthew Keller and wife Janice, and her cherished granddaughter, Samantha Bachman.
Lola was predeceased by her daughter, Laura Bachman in 2002.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, April 10 from 12 noon – 4 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Funeral services will begin on Sunday at 3:30 pm at the funeral home Father Antony Arockiadoss officiating.
Burial will be in Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ on Monday, April 11 at 11:00 am. (Please meet at the cemetery)
