I am the executive director at CASA, and at our staff meeting this morning we were talking about how Annie used to bring pictures of the children for whom she advocated to every hearing so the judge could see who decisions were being made for. We did not know of Annie’s passing until after the meeting. I cannot help but think that she wanted us to remember all of her contributions to the children she so diligently served. She was a wonderful woman who will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Lane was a lovely woman who was devoted to her community and a good friend to my mom. Her legacy consists of the many people – especially children – she helped through her advocacy. She made our little town a better place. I am so sorry for your loss.
