Jane E. Lombardi, 87, passed away on Tuesday May 6, 2025, at home with her loving family by her side.
Born in Pittston, Pennsylvania on October 14, 1937, to the late John and Anna Ralston. She was married to Nuncio J. Lombardi for 53 years until his passing on May 2, 2013.Jane was employed at Morristown Memorial Hospital on the psychiatric unit for over 30 years. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Cedar Knolls, New Jersey.Jane most of all enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandson, sisters, family and friends. She enjoyed puzzles in the winter, watching the Yankees and going to the casino.
Jane is survived by her children, Joseph and wife Kimberly Lombardi, Michele and husband Neil Laden, and son David Lombardi. Jane was also blessed with four beautiful grandchildren and one great grandchild. Granddaughter, Hope Ann Nauta, granddaughter, Ashley and husband David Russo, granddaughter, Emily Laden and fiancé Nate Hebert, grandson, Anthony Lombardi, and great grandson, Liam Russo. Sisters, Ida Ide (late husband Jim) and Annie and husband Charlie Dieso. Brothers, Eugene (Joan) Ralston, James (Toni) Ralston and sister-in-law, Maryann Ralston. Brothers-in-law, David (Patricia) Lombardi, James Tribbet. Goddaughter, Jolene Chimento and many special nieces and nephews.
Jane was predeceased by her parents, John and Anna Ralston, loving husband, Nuncio J. Lombardi, brothers, John (Ann), Kenneth (Rosie), Robert (Patricia) and Thomas Ralston. Sisters, Nancy (Robert) Naples and Jean Morrealle. Sister-in-law, Carmella (Anthony) Chimento, and sister-in-law, Deborah Tribbet.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m. Friday, May 9th at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, New Jersey. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary (St. Mary’s), 302 High Street, Hackettstown, New Jersey. The burial will follow in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, New Jersey.
